Purpose, Vision & Mission @ Zoar

As a United Methodist Church our vision is to be a community of faith known for our “open hearts, open minds and open doors.”

Open hearts – Both within Zoar and out in the community, we desire to understand what may be on the hearts of those around us. Openness also means learning to share from our own hearts as well.
Open minds – Our minds must be open to meeting people where they are in life.
Open doors- The doors of the church should always be open and welcoming to those who come to Zoar. “Open doors” also reminds members that Jesus calls us to go out into the community and to the entire world in search of the least, the last and the lost.
